2014 Congressional Towboat & Tugboat Tours - April/May

May 29, Mobile, AL: Crescent Towing hosted a towboat tour for Congressional staffers from the offices of Sen. Jeff Sessions and Rep. Bradley Byrne, viewing industry operations in the Port of Mobile.

May 15, New York: The Vane Brothers hosted staff from the offices of Sens. Cory Booker, Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand onboard the m/v Quantico Creek.

April 17, Seattle: Western Towboat Company hosted a vessel tour aboard the m/v Arctic Titan for Washington State legislators Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles and former Seattle Port Commissioner and current Rep. Gael Tarleton. The group also toured Foss Maritime Company's Seattle shipyard.

April 16, Jacksonville, Florida: Moran Towing Corporation hosted Congressional staff from the offices of Florida Sens. Ben Nelson and Marco Rubio as well as Reps. Ander Crenshaw and Ted Yoho on a tugboat tour of the Jacksonville harbor. The group witnessed a team of three Moran tugs assisting a 780-foot Crowley Maritime Corporation barge into port.
