Coast Guard Commandant Relieved of Command. Following President Trump's inauguration on January 20, Admiral Linda Fagan was relieved of command by the acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Benjamine Huffman. Admiral Kevin Lunday, previously the Vice Commandant, will serve as Acting Commandant of the Coast Guard until a permanent replacement is named.
