AWO Letter July 29, 2015

In a rare public communication between senior House leaders, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster (R-PA) and Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Marine Transportation Chairman Duncan Hunter (R-CA), sent a July 21 letter to House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) and Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) expressing hope that the Energy Committee’s forthcoming markup of comprehensive energy legislation “will not include amendments detrimental to the U.S. maritime transportation system.”
