In September 2013, 41 teams competed in the SCI Mountain Challenge, a two-day adventure race up some of Western Maine's most beautiful—and strenuous—peaks. Competitors stood in solidarity with mariners, facing tests of endurance and strength, raising money to support SCI's valuable support services to mariners.
