Cybersecurity from a Corporate Governance Perspective: What You Need to Know to Make the Right Decisions
Capt. Ryan Manning (USCG ret.), Port of Long Beach
In his current role as Security Director at the Port of Long Beach, Capt. Ryan Manning is responsible for the development of strategies to mitigate security risks for the second-biggest port in the United States, which handles 2,000 vessel calls and more than $200 billion in cargo annually. Drawing on this experience, and informed by his previous roles in the Coast Guard including Commander of Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach and Chief of the Office of Port and Facility Compliance, Capt. Manning will share his perspective on how executives and managers should be thinking about and acting on cybersecurity in consideration of the growing threat environment and evolving regulatory landscape.
