VADM Dean Lee, U.S. Coast Guard (ret.) shared his impressive leadership experience gained through a career that spanned more than three decades in the Coast Guard and saw him rise to the role of Commander of the Atlantic Area. VADM Lee commanded the attention of the room, delivering a rousing narrative on the values of servant leadership that attendees can take back to their own operation. In particular, he highlighted and illustrated through personal stories the importance of humility, openness to feedback and criticism, and the organization of priorities that is necessary for operational success.
